Beware as some will try to con you into spending a certain amount of money whereas others are happy for you to just buy a drink. There are a lot of people wanting to stop you to go into their stall and although everyone is very friendly this can get a bit tiredsome.
There is plenty of access to other areas such as Bitez and Bodrum by Dolmas My teen daughter and I enjoyed a very lively week here and really enjoyed ourselves.
The staff are so friendly and accommodating , they make each guest feel very special. The pool is lively especially at waterslide hours which are three times a day and there is loud music most of the day.
For this reason it would not suit you if you are looking for a peaceful quiet getaway. We enjoyed the interaction and daily dancing in and around the pool to Turkish music but we did not enjoy the excessively loud music until 4 am which I think came from the club next door. Fantastic private beach location and free sun beds and umbrellas. All in all a great holiday at a great price if you like a lively atmosphere.
The beach facilities with Buddha Bar were amazing. The view of the sea was exceptional. This property exceeded my expectations. I will definitely come back. This resort is not cheap but the quality you receive is worth every dollar. Everything about this hotel was horrifying from the staff, to the rooms, to the pool. Electric outlets were exposed, the doors had holes in them and the locks didnt work.
The staff were really friendly, cheerful and helpful. The hotel is in front of the beach, so very convinient. The food in every meal was great.
It was very tasty and there were many choices. There were also many choices of drinks. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and the staff were nothing but welcoming and friendly to us. Only problem is the noise at night. Our kids can sleep in any kind of noise. If yours are not same maybe wont be comfortable. The best resort I have ever seen. We had a great time they upgraded us because of our anniversary. The staff was helpful and very kind. Really enjoyed the breakfast and dinners. The pool was fantastic with plenty of sun beds. Annoying was the continuous loud music until 4AM from surrounding night clubs. Meant a disturbed sleep. We were in the middle levels of the complex We were in the middle levels of the complex. I spoke to a man who holidays there twice a year. He said on the lower levels he hears very little noise. Still we loved our stay. Cute Hotel in the middle of Gumbet-Bodrum,in the heart of the nightlife scene.
It could be loud sometimes if a person wants to chill but on the other hand you can see everything happening in town If you want to relax go to the beach area,very nice!
Just put in mind that this hotel is for only for crashing at night Small rooms and showers and No comfortable bed! Our stay at Captain Kemal was enjoyable. We didn't like the area, Gumbet, because of too many noisy pubs and clubs. The apartment though was really nice and very good value for moneyand relatively quiet considering the surroundings. If you enjoy nightlife, this is the place for you.
This hotel is in the heart of the Gumbet night life area and is surrounded by restaurants and clubs. It is on the Gumbet mini bus route which makes transportation to and from Bodrum very easy.
